step one: hook update-notifier into the KCM, not too intrusive but gives better
usability
possible step two: select one or two fine default screenies to be shipped by
default (that is if there is any good candidate and if we can/want to spare the
CD space) ... this ought to be done via brainstorm.ubuntu.com though.

Maybe it's a good idea to make kscreensaver a dependence or
recommendation for kubuntu-desktop and choose one of them as standard
screen saver to avoid the black screen.
