Hi, this is definetly a driver issue with ath5k (driver for Atheros wireless). All users I found who reported the same issue had an Atheros chipset and I am having this issue as well. Please see #434073 and #430420 as well.
The sympton is not just that syslog message but also an periodically lagging connection over wireless. I have had this issue a while before with an Atheros chipset and ath5k, I think it was some problem with setting the wireless radio (frequency hopping or adjust of signal strength, I don't remember). However, I never had this issue with any other wireless chipset neither it occurred with the old popular driver "madwifi" for Atheros. I will try to upgrade to a more recent version of ath5k and see if that fixes it.
