i did a clean install of edgy, installed using fglrx provided, same problem i was having before where the bottom portion of any video on the second monitor (a tv) is cut off.. so, as suggested, i installed the ati provided drivers.. same problem exactly.. this is the same problem i had in dapper until i installed the linux-k7 kernel with fglrx.. so, it seems that the lack of a proper k7 kernel could be the only answer to this bug.. if someone will direct me on how to compile a k7 kernel i will try myself and see if that is the problem, which i think it is.. we need the k7 kernel back for k7 users
