Due to Drobo and DroboPro firmware limitations, it is currently impractical to 
use a logical unit size larger than the default 2.0 TiB under Linux:

I.e. if you have more than 2 TB net disk space built into the Drobo or 
DroboPro, it needs to be exposed to Linux as a 2nd and perhaps 3rd logical unit 
indeed.
