Hello Bryce, Nice to see your fast response.
I upgraded from 9.04 yesterday. And found X is unsuable, The log said It is a problem with fglrx because I havent got such files. I found the files is unpacked, but the name of files is not that what the closed source videodriver, fglrx is expecting. Then I copied files, and things got better. I haven't interrupted the installation, also I tried to reconfigure the releted packages after this problem without succes. What do you think what is the preferred way to backtrack the problem? I am open to remove/purge the fglrx packages then install them again, and collect the output of dpkg process if you want.
