The devices not being mounted are cryptsetup/luks partitions, which are listed in /etc/crypttab, using a key-file.
I guess the problem is that mountall is waiting for them to become available, but they never do. So, after all, I think the initial bug report is related, as mountall should fail/not hang with invalid UUIDs, but my problem goes one step further: the cryptsetup devices are not being setup properly anymore.
