Pedro, I did my best to record the backtrace as explained. The last times however, evolution froze instead of crashing. The instructions say to "press ctrl+c in gdb" which turned gdb off. What does "in gdb" mean? It runs in a shell, right? So here is what I got. If you know what my mistake was with gdb you might tell me. Philipp
