When I ctrl+alt+F1-6 to any tty, the machine freezes and gives me a very
colorful screen! This also happens when I reboot or shutdown the
machine"

Nvidia GeForce Go 6200 with the latest linux driver 1.0-9746
I have the latest BIOS version R0092V0 for my laptop Sony VAIO S3XP
I ahve tested with Edgy 6.10 kernel 2.6.17 ... same problem.
I have tried without "quiet splash vga=xxx" options in Grub config with no
success. I have also tried with option "vga=normal" ... same problem.
This is a very annoying problem!
