Still having the same issue with karmic beta live cd. 19, Oct 2009 live cd loaded to desktop, click on Ubuntu One application ( happens with any app I try ) the app loads and afetr a few seconds the system freezes. Only way to recover is shutting down ( power button ) and rebooting.
