The driver has been verified Ok with the kernel version of 2.6.31-10-generic
based on
Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic.
As you mentioned, I'll check the driver with the kernel 2.6.31-15-generic,
and see
whether the issue also exists?
You can also request for the drive from the Realtek with mail address
[email protected],
just as it was mentioned within the driver package.
