With kernel image updated, I just tried the driver with "make" and "make
install" on the Beta of Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) with Kernel
2.6.31-14-generic, and it also seems to be working now.

After reboot, the networks now can also be scanned and connected with
OPEN/WEP/WPA/WPA2, etc
