While I'm a fan of design "white space", I think having a design "white blizzard" is a bad move. Especially when that white blizzard is, in fact, black, with a small white logo that's extremely small and gives no indication of loading progress. The Ubuntu logo is nice looking, admittedly, but I also like seeing 'Ubuntu' somewhere with it, as well as some sort of confirmation that my system isn't hanging, the boot isn't stuck, or that my display is frozen.
Colors are pleasing to the eye. That's why gardens are popular. And rainbows. You like rainbows, don't you? -- usplash missing progress indicator, color https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/450809 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
