I do not know if this is the same issue, but I upgraded from 8.04LTS to 9.10 today and could not connect to an ISA server anymore, which worked perfectly before.
The error reported by pppd in the syslog was: pppd[31854]: EAP: unknown authentication type 13; Naking I worked around this problem by unklicking the EAP option in the Advanced-tab (nm-applet -> Edit -> Advanced -> Authentication). The connection was established then without any further problems: pppd[2809]: Plugin /usr/lib/pppd/2.4.5//nm-pptp-pppd-plugin.so loaded. pppd[2809]: pppd 2.4.5 started by root, uid 0 pppd[2809]: Using interface ppp0 pppd[2809]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/pts/4 pppd[2809]: CHAP authentication succeeded Maybe this helps? -- Ubuntu 9.04 Acer Aspire one/Lenovo x300, PPTP vpn / ISA server not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/405679 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
