That card is handled by the driver ath5k now.
    The problem is that it doesn't work on Karmic with its kernel 2.6.31 
(don't remember Ubuntu version but the latest one as of yesterday).
    To solve it, I had compiled manually a 2.6.32-rc5 kernel and it 
worked beautifully.
    Maybe you can do that too, or try to force the install of madwifi, 
or try to use ndiswrappers.
    Ideally Ubuntu would update its kernel with the bits that fix this 
card from the ath5k driver, lets cross our fingers :-).
