  Currently I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and the ensoniq pci sound card. I have
  no sound problems. Two days ago I installed Ubuntu 9.10 on a new hard
  disk. Ubuntu 9.10 doesn't recognise any of my sound cards (System ->
