By now probably the best solution is to modify grub as stated in http://www.webupd8.org/2009/11/how-to-disable-ipv6-in-ubuntu-910.html
I don't know if blacklisting / disabling ipv6 is good or bad idea and I don't really care. I only want for my browser work as it is supposed to.
