I'm a regular internet user, not a techie like most of you. I reported
this problem as bug #472586 before I stumbled across this bug report. I
liked Ubuntu - before the upgrade. Now I'm screwed and can't use it, and
I'm going back to Windows. Why was this upgrade released with a problem
like this? For a regular person like me this is totally wrong. I had to
put in a lot of time and effort to learn how to install Ubuntu,
configure it, use it, etc... For every regular person who wants to try
and use Ubuntu this is strong message: Ubuntu is for techies only;
regular people are not invited.
