Sorry, I was able to download in the synaptic window, and I have done the recommended updates, but still cant download programs in the software center. Just says "not available in the current data".
Not really sure what else to do. Thanks for any assistance. If synaptic worked, but didn't successfully solve the problem, then try installing a program using synaptic. Also, run the software updater, as that might help.
