Hi again,

I wonder if i can bother you for two more questions.  I just downloaded
Ubuntu 9.10 on my laptop.  I am getting a similar problem, i cant
download programs from the software center.  It tells me "not available
in the current data".  This is for any program I try in the software
center.  I tried your previous suggestion on this problem, with no luck.

Second question.  I was able to share my printer in my office through
CUPS network.  Can I access that network now on my laptop through my
wireless router?  If so, how?

Thanks for your help.  I really appreciate it.

Pura Vida,

Nicholas Russi CADC-II,NCAC-I

Nick,

Start the "Terminal" program (should be under Accessories), and type in
the command "sudo synaptic".  It will ask for a password, and then
Synaptic will start up and do some initializations.  After it is done,
you can close it.  After that, try running the Software center again.
