Hi Albert,
Editing /boot/grub/menu.lst manually will still give the same problem
the next time a kernel update is made available, so is not a very long-
term solution.
Please see the instructions in bug #470490 for how you can permanently
fix this problem on your system - and an explanation of why this isn't
something that we can fix in an automated fashion.
Before you make further changes to your menu.lst, though, could you
please attach a copy of the current file to this bug report?
