Attached, output from instructions here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log
It doesn't by any chance, have anything to do with similar lines like:
I: (alsa-lib)pcm_hw.c: open /dev/snd/pcmC0D3p failed
.....
I: (alsa-lib)pcm_hw.c: open /dev/snd/pcmC1D0p failed
.....
Is it? I notice on a working Pulseaudio (Fedora) box, for command:
sudo fuser -v /dev/dsp* /dev/snd/* /dev/seq*
This shows and additional element (pcmC0D0p):
USER PID ACCESS COMMAND
/dev/snd/controlC0: [username] 3548 F.... pulseaudio
/dev/snd/controlC1: [username] 3548 F.... pulseaudio
/dev/snd/pcmC0D0p: [username] 3548 F...m pulseaudio
Anyway... log attached. thanks.
