Michael,

There is a way to not get the keyring prompt but it is considered a
security risk. You can set the keyring password to be blank, but this
will store all your keyring passwords in clear text. We do not recommend
users do this, as there are more applications that use the keyring than
just Ubuntu One. I recommend users to use a login and set the keyring
password to be the same as the Ubuntu login password so that you get the
experience of one login per session. This will take care of encrypted
home directories as well.
