Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cupsys

Hi! I encountered yet another bug (of which it seems ubuntu does have
more than plenty *scnr*):

I have a Lenovo notebook with a docking station with an LPT port.
My HP LaserJet 1300 printer is attached to that port.

When I boot my laptop while at the docking station and print a document
everything is fine.

But when I take the laptop from the dockingstation and reattach it, I can not
print any more.
The error I get is /usr/lib/cups/backend/hp failed.

/var/log/syslog shows:
hp[3917]: io/hpmud/pp.c 627: unable to read device-id ret=-1
hp[3917]: prnt/backend/hp.c 720: ERROR: cannot open device stat=12:
hp:/par/hp_LaserJet_1300?device=/dev/parport0

PS:
I selected cupsys as the package, because this is my best guess.
If you feel that, this is not a cups issue, but but some other project might
fit better, do not just mark this as invalid, but add the right project. I am
happy to provide needed debugging info. Thank you!
