Subject: [Bug 489726] Re: Can't create PID file /var/run/dhcpd.pid: Permission
denied

I believe that the file '/etc/init/ebox.dhcpd3.conf' should read:

exec /usr/sbin/dhcpd3 -f -q -pf /var/run/dhcp3-server/dhcpd.pid

instead of its current implementation of:

exec /usr/sbin/dhcpd3 -f -q

This is how the /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server file is written and at some
point the correct directory is created in /var/run with what looks like
correct permissions:

drwxr-xr-x 2 dhcpd dhcpd 40 2009-11-28 17:56 dhcp3-server
