Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation.

According to nfs(5) mountvers=n should be supported by mount.nfs but
it's not:

$ sudo mount.nfs localhost:/smb /mnt -o mountvers=2
mount.nfs: an incorrect mount option was specified

nfs-common:
  Installed: 1:1.2.0-2ubuntu8
  Candidate: 1:1.2.0-2ubuntu8
  Version table:
 *** 1:1.2.0-2ubuntu8 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin
work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from
here. Thanks for taking the time to make Ubuntu better!
