has anyone had success with the usb adapters? i really don't want to waste the money if ubuntu is going to fry that too. I went through 2 new wireless cards. both worked fine at startup and i installed the restricted drivers. used wireless successfully.......... until i rebooted my computer and that is when my wireless cards were both fried. i think no more ubuntu for me........ at least on my laptop. it works great on my home pc.
