Signal intensity.
I have verified that the patched driver is highly dependent on signal 
intensity. The problem is that nm-applet signal indication is not always true. 
You may think that intensity is enough but it may forbid connection or simply 
not transmit/receive though connected.
I think that patched driver works, and suggest that prior to stating that it 
doesn't, this should be physically done seeing the AP, excluding any possible 
intensity signal problem. 
It should be pointed out that in these not enough signal intensity situations, 
Windows works perfectly in the same conditions with the same laptop.
