I have changed using the terminal (gstreamer properties) the settings
for the movie player from auto to the other option it hadand it fixed
the problem with the colours but now the frames are very slow and
sometimes ubuntu doesn't load properly, leaving the screen almost blanc.
I think what I did before all this started was to download a specific
file from an email which may have contained a bug or my other guess is
that I tried to copy a cd with music that could not be read when I tried
to open it, even though it played the music. I a reaaly sorry that I can
not be more specific or not use the proper wording for you so that you
can understand what is happening. If I can do anything else please let
me know. Thank you for all the support.
