Hi - Thanks so much for getting back to me on this. Attached is the tar file of the ACPI directory as requested.
I'll work on getting a liveCD of 9.10 going. It will be another day before I get it done. Also, I checked my update "logs", and I did not see any updates to ACPI. Maybe I did not look in the correct place or use the right method. But I am sure I did not have this problem a few weeks ago. But when I try older Kernels, the problem still exists. Which I believe this aligns with the issue being something in the ACPI software, since this ACPI is independent of the kernel (I think?). thanks again... -Nate ** Attachment added: "tar file of acpi directory" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/36839506/acpi.tar.bz -- Jaunty: kacpid running at 70% of CPU Time on Pentium 4 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/496937 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
