I've ran into this bug also. Karmic Koala, Tango icon theme, no suspend icon. Solved it this way: - sudo mkdir -p /usr/share/icons/Tango/48x48/apps - sudo ln -s /usr/share/gnome-power-manager/icons/hicolor/48x48/actions/gpm-suspend.png /usr/share/icons/Tango/48x48/apps/sleep.png
