Hi, danieru. I've tried myself the same thing, but I've copied the files from one directory to another with the configuration set to 100K (I don't have bigger files) and the bound to the thumbnail seems to work really fine. Could you try to load the directory from a clean user account. Maybe there is an obstruct the thumbnail generator set. And in a clean account those "wherever" will be deleted.
