Been using/testing Ubuntu 9.10 a couple of weeks by now and I've noticed a
similar problem. When I shut Firefox down, the application doesn't close as
intended (presumably that is).
I've tried to shut down through menues and keyboard shortcuts. Everything
seem to shut down and all's well until I want to launch Firefox again. I then
get an error-message saying the application still running, and I have to shut
it down before I launch again.
No biggie really, check the signal and kill it off - and we're good to go
again. Though can't but wonder if this is a problem (duh!), or rather, if it's
a common one. I figure I should post lots of information in order to be of any
useful help.
So - what info do you need? Add-ons? From what I can see all things
installed are Ubuntu Firefox Modification 0.8 and Password Exporter 1.2. And
probably flash player as well.
