Daniel, strigi is Qt4 based app and as you may know KDE4 is based on it
(strigi runs on both KDE3 and KDE4 + other OSs). They have switched to
dbus for internal communication (before unix domain socket was used) and
they use Qt4 dbus bindings. "qtdbus" that they mention is I think the
newly introduced library: /usr/lib/libstrigiqtdbusclient.so.0 that they
ship in new libstrigiqtdbusclient0 binary package.

So they do not change anything in qtdbus implementation/libraries, they
just use it.
