I'm sorry! My new project bug report was added accidentally while I've been working on two PCs simultaneously. I can't find out how to remove it.
This bug still affects the newest ubuntu kernel. After reboot with FTDI device connected nobody is able to use it. I/O operations end with "Device or resource busy", but according to lsof no process is using this device.
