Glad it's resolved! Your issue was probably the NTFS "dirty bit", which
is set if Windows doesn't shut down properly. Windows clears it on the
next boot, but Ubuntu generally refuses to mount the partition. Most
likely the bit got cleared somewhere in your adventures. :)
Setting invalid as it probably wasn't a bug in the first place.
