Leann Ogasawara - I am very pleased to report - on the first time I loaded the backport kernel [2.6.31-16-generic-pae] and the modules that I have gotten no error messages - "ath5k phy0: noise floor calibration failed (2452MHz)" listed on dmesg tail.
