information?  This would be most useful.

I will say this, though, that this is likely not so much a bug as it is
a safety feature.  You say that you are experiencing a heavy CPU load
before this shutdown, and that your fan was working very hard.  It is
likely that your computer is doing the proper actions to prevent damage
to itself.  I am more curious about whatever is causing the heavy CPU
load to the point that the computer can not cool itself sufficiently.
