Hi Jeff,
I'm sorry to hear your laptop was stolen. In regards to NetworkManager,
we have a fix for this in our beta ppa, that removes the NetworkManager
requirement. I'm including the FAQ link on how to use this beta PPA in
case you get your laptop back (I hope!) or you need to use something
other than NetworkManager on a new laptop:
