Thank you very much for reporting your problems. This helps to improve
the quality of Ubuntu. However, there are a few informations needed:

- Which version do you use: Ubuntu 9.10 i386 or amd64?
- Which Install CD do you use?: alternate, server, desktop?

I've just tested this in an Bladecenter E. I can boot the CD itself. However,
there is a limitation with IBM CD-ROM drives which I've seen:
- A possible reason (IBM related) could be that you've burned the CD with
speed >2x . Newer IBM CD-ROM drives seem to have problems . There are other
IBMs in the xseries which suffer from that problem, too. Try to burn the image
with 2x.

- Another idea: Is the KVM attached to the right blade?

An ultimate way to find out if the ISO itself is the problem would it be
to use the 'remote console' . You can add the ISO as 'remote drive'. If
that works ok, it's probably an issue which isn't related to the install
cds.
