hibernate-disk seems to work (tried a couple of times without a crash), even without unmounting any partitions. However: a) the power management setting of the hard disk is wrong after thawing out (normal: 128 for battery, 254 for line; after hibernation: 128; $ sudo hdparm -B /dev/sda).
b) in contrast to traditional hibernation, grub's OS selector is displayed. This would probably lead to crashes when you don't choose the system that you hibernated. -- IBM/Lenovo Laptops crash when waking up from hibernation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350680 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
