You have the 'grub' package installed on a system that was installed as
Ubuntu 9.10, which ships with 'grub-pc' (grub 2) by default. You should
run 'sudo apt-get install grub-pc' from a terminal to reinstall the
correct bootloader package, so that security updates to new kernel
versions can be applied correctly on your system.
