Can someone confirm that they also have a weird image distortion with mplayer when playing DivX 5.0 movies ?
I have an Intel 82815 Chipset Graphics Controller (rev 02) and without first using Xine or Totem, I always got a ghost red/green image at 45 degrees with mplayer. I have confirmed this on Debian Etch/Testing and with the latest svn- compiled mplayer. Using VLC I don't have any problem at all, so I'm not sure if the problem lies in the i810 driver or in mplayer. The folks at mplayer mailing list told me that if the snapshots (with mplayer -vf screenshot) are correct (and they are) then the problem probably lies in i810 driver...
