$HOME/.xsession is not sourced by /etc/X11/Xsession script. This is
because the script /etc/X11/Xsession.d/50x11-common_determine-startup
checks for the "allow-user-session" option from
/etc/X11/Xsession.options, but the option name is "allow-user-xsession".
