Ok ok. I messed this up. I was doing something gdm-related when I filed
this report so apparently I got confused (doing 2 things at once is
apparently beyond me). What I meant in the original bug report is the
gnome logout screen. Regarding the gdm login menu and the hibernate
option, please file another bug too (it's a seperate issue). I can
confirm it though. Whenever I select "hibernate" in the gdm (yes, gdm
this time :-) menu, I get an "invalid password/username. please try
again" and it stays there.
In the meantime, I hope I got the package right this time. I filed this
bug as #54717. Can you please confirm it once more?
