Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. Before we can pass it on to 
the developers of the patch we need to find out a bit more about the behaviour 
of this bug.
There is a known issue with applications having and Application Indicator that 
are launched on log in with the Start-up Manager to use the fall back mechanism 
instead of the Application Indicator because the indicator-application-service 
is not ready right away. If that's the bug you're experiencing, please take a 
look at bug #528088.

It could be that there is a bug in the code of Rhythmbox that is responsible 
for drawing the tray icon. Could you please attach the file ".xsession-errors" 
right after the bug occured? You can find this hidden file in your home 
directory.
