here is the screenshot ** Description changed:
I was installing a new dapper drake dual boot on my new dell windows xp box. I chose "resize scsi1 (0,0,0),partion #1 (sda) and use freed space". I opted for 35% (81.0GB) of my 250 GB maxtor SATA disk. And this gave the following errorbox: Failed to create enough space for installation And then after the messagebox OK, I can retry, so I retry, but only the powerfan starts spinning up, but no harddisk activity or nothing else. On reboot and retry the same thing happens. - - (i made a screenshot with the live cd, but there is no file-upload box - here) ** Tags added: dapper disk install partition sata -- on installation "prepare disk space" gives error "failed to create enough space for installation" https://launchpad.net/bugs/54778 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
