The problem is solved in 2.6.31-14-generic at least. I tested with the 9.10 i386 Live-System. I didn't test 9.04, maybe it was fixed then. Sorry I didn't have the time. The proof is attached in the dmesg output. The partitions are scattered all over the log, sorry. Why's that, BTW?
