Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: pidgin
>From Tools -> Preferences -> Status/Idle
I have:
Auto/Away [check]
Minutes [choose]
Change status [check]
Change status to [choose]
However, I cannot choose which status message it will enforce on my
accounts, or to just disable it.
My contacts see a "I'm not here right now", which sound ridiculous for
most of my contacts, to which I speak in a language rather than English.
1. There is no menu entry to disable or change that message.
2. After I touch the mouse or the keyboard, the status is restored this
status message persists.

When the satus goes to Away after some idle time, Pidgin changes my status
message without user's permisson, without allowing to choose the message, and
in a language the user's contacts do not necessarily understand.
