Note that this also breaks the precompiled tarball distributions of
mysqld, which is what you need to use in order to run a mysql sandbox on
karmic unless you want to build mysqld from sources in order to link to
libstdc++ 6.  This will cause a lot of trouble for server users who want
to run multiple mysqld's easily.
