Wasn't correct. I have to start Windows at last once and login, to make
X11 work.

An alternative is: start systemrescuecd 1.5.0, start X11 using startx,
then reboot.

Starting Ubuntu right after powering on only gives a distorted screen
with no keyboard and mouse. It doesn't mater which kernel you use. It's
the same With any of the available ones, including those given in the
"red" repository.
